BOOO

This honestly has to be one of the worst performances at any award show ever; Soulja Boy at the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards. Soulja Boy Tell Em...Whats bad for hip hop.

Side Notes:
1. Either take your jacket off or keep it on, you can't have it on half of the way.
2. Umbrellas are never allowed onstage, even if you do happen to make it rain.
3. If the audience is barely standing and hardly listening to your song, you have no right to go into the crowd.

Loft Love

Comfortableness looms in lofts. I feel productivity would as well.

sonicsgate

"Sonicsgate will hopefully make its rounds all over America,
with the rest of the public seeing what happened here, and
trying to avoid those exact circumstances in the future."

— Kevin Nesgoda, Bleacher Report

A documentary on Seattle's once amazing basketball team.
Directed by Jason Reid and produced by Adam Brown.

The Obama's

The New York Times created an amazing photo album of Barack and Michelle, a mini time line per se, of them together in the public sphere. Its seems at times that when our Commander and Chief is in the presence of his wife, he is fully balanced, poised and in-tune. Together they seem perfect, and we have yet seen a reason to believe they aren't. The First Family.

Sounders FC. Playoff Bound.

The inaugural season for the Seattle Sounder's FC came to a close last night after they defeated FC Dallas in a come back win 2-1. With 30 games this season, at 90 minutes each, there's been over 2,700 minutes of hard fought soccer played this season. The Sounders finished with a record of 12-7-11.

As a long time Sounders fan, especially of the original Sounders, I hope this postseason is as exciting as every game we have played to date. With the Sonics gone, the Sounders have somewhat filled the void their absence has left. As well I hope Seattle's new found love for this soccer team never dies and we can continue to pack Qwest for many seasons to come.

Parkour

Here is the trailer for MTV's new show.

This scene from Casion Royale features Parkour, its one of all time favorite scenes from a James Bond movie.

The Office's version of Parkour.

I don't think you can classify this as a sport, but Parkour's mix of martial arts, trapeze like skills, running, and cement is amazing to watch.

MTV's new show: The Ultimate Parkour challenge is interesting. If they can make the show anything like the trailer, I will watch it.

Approve Ref. 71

Referendum 71 is a very controversial and complex issue being sought ought in our state right now. But it shouldn't be. On November 3, voters will vote on basic rights that seriously affect the lives of many registered gay domestic partnerships in our state. The Referendum would give many rights to these couples, which would ensure a safer, more stable and easier way of life for them and their children

Many people who are against this issue are also against the idea of gay marriage, but this is not an issue of gay marriage. A Domestic partnership is a legal arrangement between two people who seek to attain certain rights that can better their lives in the state of Washington. Domestic partnerships have been very successful in many other states around country such as Massachusetts, California, Maine, Colorado, and more.

Gay couples hope that their Domestic Partnerships can gain a status that allows them to have rights close to that of married couples. And why not? They hope to attain things such as; the legal right to include your partner in your will, for a partnership to be covered together on the same health insurance, many other financial securities that ensure a safer future for their children like being able to legally hand down their pensions and work benefits to their children.

On November 3, make the decision that will help ensure equality for all American citizens. Gay couple's may have a different sexual orientation than heterosexuals, but they shouldn't be denied access to basic rights, that harm no one, but help them so many.

Read more about the issue here.

V. Overton

I have loved watching Venoy play since his days as a Franklin Quaker. Personally, I have never seen any one play who is as exciting as Venoy and can control the game's tempo with such ease. When he decided on UW, I was pumped that I would be able to watch him play for four more years. And now coming off the Pac-10 title, and with Abdul Gaddy bringing in his expertise at the point, the Huskies are again headed in the direction to compete among the nations best.

I was lucky enough to have a sit down with him for gohuskies.com and talk about the team, his life, and his game. Check it out.

Kanye West's Short Film

Kanye recently made a short film called "We Were Once A Fairytail" and debuted it at the Los Angeles Film Festival last night. I guess its closely tied to and represents the 808's and Heartbreak album in some way. The video is very weird but of course because Kanye made it, its artistic... Check out the synopsis here.

Jeff Koons

Innovation and creativity flows through this guys vains like no other. I saw one of his shows on the roof top of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Businessmen and all sorts of trendy folk drank cocktails in the NY sun along the shadows of his unique sculptures.

Fashion (Fwd) Fridays

London's fashion scene speaks for its self. They are are a year ahead of all our fashion which means that if you are "late" on your fashion sense, you could be...two maybe three years behind where the fashion marker of reality lies. Here are some current styles seen over in the UK. Big Ben Ballin.

Chris Brown Cleans it Up

I guess stars kind hide from the law completely. It seems Chris Brown has started his 180 days of labor service and 5 years probation. I bet he will never litter again..

Conner Olson: Seattle's Very Own Jeff Lewis

Having known Conner for some time now, there are two things I can say to his character, he is a hard worker and a hard person to predict. Conner emulates the true Clyde Hillian spirit and way of life. He is direct and to the point, and doesn't stop at no. He has many great traits, but I just cannot get over the fact of how similar he is to Bravo Television's Jeff Lewis, from the show Flipping Out.

Jeff Lewis decorates, renovates and flips houses in the Los Angeles Area. He is extremely anal about all aspects of his work and constantly strives for perfection.

Conner Olson is a big fan of Jeff's show Flipping Out. He also loves selling things for a profit, just like Jeff. Jeff and Connor both own a Range Rover and a Mercedes and take care of them profusely. Conner can take a broken iPhone and make profit, and Jeff can do the same with a house. Conner love's Lactose dress shirts, and that's all Jeff wears.

Be your own judge...
