Since I Last Blogged Something...

I was an undergraduate college student.
I had a blackberry (now the iPhone obviously).
I have grown to love and cook mushrooms.
The Sonics have signed a deal to come back to Seattle, for now.
The Palestinians and Israelis inked a cease fire agreement.

Plus a few other things. Stay tuned for what will be highlighted in the weeks to come upbeats...

This documentary "Elevate", follows four African basketballs players who come to the US to play for American colleges and features UW's very own Aziz N'Diaye. Here is the trailer for the movie which is out in some cities already, but comes to Seattle November 18th.

Tavis Smiley & Cornel West go on O'Reilly Factor



The PBS Host Smiley and Princeton Professor West go on the O'Reilly Factor and argue poverty in America, the Wall Street crisis and everything in between. At minute 5:00, I think you can really see how most people feel when Bill makes extremely one-sided statements that only Bill can get away with on his OWN show. Regardless, a great clip of an issue (poverty vs. rich) which we will continue to hear a lot of this election cycle.
