Vaux High School

The challenge of our public school systems here in the US has always been a re-occurring issue, and the people who consistently stand up to help better it deserve way more than they receive.

Here we have Vaux High School on the north side of Philadelphia, and my mother recently took on the challenge of working there and started her first day as a Spanish teacher just a few days ago. I am proud of her every day. She steps into her situation with the odds against her, helping these kids find the benefit of receiving a quality education.

And just like at Motivation High School in West Philly, she will come out helping many students, moving them in a positive direction, not only while helping them learn the Spanish language, but also allowing them to see why an education is so important in accordance with living a prosperous life.
